I now reside in Manila and I have been teaching English for 3 year. Experience in teaching TOEIC and TOEFL. He worked as part of the training team for a BPO company preparing training materials and conducting specific subject matter training. As a freelance writer, he created educational materials like reviewers and tests for a distance learning college. Hello, my name is Joseph Velarde but a lot of people call me by my nickname JV. I am 30 years old and I have been teaching English for more than 6 years now in classroom based settings, one-on-one tutorials and online. Teaching is something that I love to do since it allows me to meet different people and share knowledge with them. In my spare time I like to read, draw, play around with ingredients in the kitchen, and work with glass. I’m very passionate about traveling to places I’ve always wanted to visit as well as places that I have already seen but have a soft spot for. Regina De Leon Education: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major: Management Teaching experience: 1 year Koreans (6yrs old-adults) Teaching Style and Summary: I’ve had experience teaching Korean nationals ranging from 6 years old to adults in a classroom type setting and one-on-one tutorials. Since Koreans are new to this language, I concentrated on the basics of speaking the language and focused more on the students’ grammar, pronunciation and comprehension. I’ve also had extensive training on communications skills from an American outsourcing company. I have been very effective as an English teacher to Koreans and Chinese nationals because of my eagerness to help them develop and learn the language. Having patience is also a very important characteristic for me, because without it I believe one will never be successful. Hello! My name is Regina De Leon, my friends call me Regie. I am 32 yrs old, born in Manila, Philippines. My hobbies are reading books, watching documentary films and playing badminton with my family and friends. I also like to cook and bake. I have been teaching English for the past 2 years. I became interested in teaching because I like meeting and talking to people from all walks of life. Teaching has fascinated me because I get the privilege to help other people learn the English language and at the same time learn from my students.
